Plans for the 2009 Compass Montessori School Harvest Festival Run are under way and we are counting on you to help make this another wonderful event! This will be the fourth year for our run, and each year it has grown bigger and better than the one before. The event will be held on Saturday, October 10th at Compass Montessori School in Golden. Participants may choose a 1 mile, 5k or 10k course, and families, strollers and dogs are welcome on the 1 mile and 5k course. We encourage participants of all levels to get out there and show our kids the importance of healthy habits and community involvement.
Thanks to your support last year, money raised from the race allowed Compass to purchase upgraded technology tools for both campuses.
Proceeds from this year’s race will allow Compass to:
1. Build a barn for the Farm School to house animals and farm equipment.
We hope that your business will choose to participate in helping us reach our goals to make our school a huge success. We welcome any financial contribution you are able to make. Attached you will find sponsorship level information that clearly breaks down what you will receive in return for your support. We are also seeking prizes for give-a-ways if you would like to donate gift certificates. All contributors may put coupons or flyers in each of the 500 goodie bags and will be listed in Compass’s newsletter. Your contribution is tax deductible and we’re counting on your support! Donation amount: $200-$299 cash or $100 cash and $200 worth of merchandise/services

is a Preschool through 12th grade Colorado charter school that was approved by the Jefferson County School Board on December 11, 1997 and opened in the fall of 1998. The parents who created Compass Montessori are committed to the Montessori philosophy because of the positive learning experience their children have had in Montessori schools. In keeping with this teaching philosophy, the school's campus (the Wheat Ridge Pre-K through 6th Grade campus is located at 10399 West 44th Avenue in Wheat Ridge and the Golden PreK through 12th Grade campus is located at 4441 Salvia Street in Golden) has ample space for indoor and outdoor education and play.
